1. Objectives
This specification documents the system-level requirements for the P &G ERP system.
The objectives of this specification of the P&G ERP system are to:
1. Provide a system overview of the P&G Research and Development including definition, goals,
objectives, context, and major capabilities.
2. To formally specify it’s associations:
Functional requirements
Data requirements
Quality requirements
Constraints
2. Outstanding Issues
None
3. Assumptions and Dependencies
The following Assumptions and Dependencies are applicable for this SRS:
The system will be used by experienced users from each of the Enterprise Systems that have a deep
understanding of existing operations.
Provide connected design capabilities, integrating requirements, mechanics, electronics, software
components, and simulation, as well as synchronizing all downstream product development needs
internally and externally
Manage flexible, high-performing, and ease-of-use configuration and classification for product
individualization
Integrate and validate compliance requirements in the development process and manage product
declarations as part of the product properties for all variants across the product supply chain and
lifecycle

4. System Features
The P&G ERP system has features and capabilities that were not available on previous midrange
systems. Primary features include the ability to partition product development scheduling and
departmental roles. These features provide greater reliability, availability, and serviceability, which
means uptime. The following section are adopted in the system:
A. Planning System Features
The first stage of product development at P&G R&D planning. The raw material and packaging
material for R&D department are defined and assigned code that will be used in purchase and issue
during production. This point is executed at the Supply chain management department
B. Production System Features
Batch manufacturing record is prepared and bill of material for each product uploaded in the SAP.
Production co-coordinator facilitate batch opening and issue of material at the raw material
warehouse
C. User Interfaces
The system is greatly user friendly with predefined coding language for the system. However the users
are equipped with MySQL programming prior to running the ERP system.

Assign ownership for the implementation project
Thoroughly define your requirements, goals and priorities for the ERP implementation
Ensure communication across the whole business on what you are doing and why
Set realistic expectations for the outcome
Security Requirements
Each user will have special account logins and limited rights as per his/her department. Project
Manager will have the highest level of rights to the system, although some code/registry access rights
will be kept solely with program vendor.

Flexibility
The ease with which a system or component can be modified for use in applications or
environments, other than those for which it was specifically designed.
Interoperability
The ability of two or more systems or components to exchange information and use the
information that has been exchanged.

qualities are often expressed by the number of transactions per unit time, or by the
amount of time that it takes to complete a transaction with the system.
Reliability
The ability of the system to keep operating over time. Reliability is usually measured by
mean time to failure.
Scalability
The ability to maintain or improve performance while system demand increases.
Security
A measure of the system's ability to resist unauthorized attempts at usage and denial of
service, while still providing its services to legitimate users. Security is categorized in
terms of the types of threats that might be made to the system.
Supportability
The ease with which a software system can be operationally maintained.
8. Acceptance Criteria
R&D and functional consultants of each ERP feature team to create performance metrics that are
linked to the business measurements of the project processes they support. Work with the IT
implementation side of your ERP team (internal + vendor) to create simple process optimization
success measurements for each environment and each module.
